Tanner Lang
Coach / Field Operations Leader / PT
A 24 year old Colorado native and graduate of Columbine High School where he played football and baseball. Tanner continued his academic and athletic career to play baseball in San Luis Obispo, CA and Baltimore, MD. He is currently getting started on courses in the Emergency Medical Technician field to eventually start a career fighting fire.
After a knee injury in college, Tanner found himself at a crossroads with no idea what he wanted to do. As his mom would say, “Those who can’t do, teach.” Today, you can find Tanner spending time coaching baseball at Mountain Vista high school and Club baseball at Slammers. He truly loves coaching the sport he can no longer play.
A perfect storm led Tanner to Halftime Help where he enjoys a leadership role working with some of the same boys he coaches in spring/summer/fall. Tanner feels truly blessed to spend time with these guys on and off the field as a coach and also a mentor.
Favorite Teams are the Texas Longhorns, Texas Rangers and notably the Mountain Vista Eagles.
A few of my favorite films are anything Quentin Tarantino related, Forest Gump, and The Fast & the Furious franchise.
My musical tastes are too vast and numerous to mention, but I’m a sucker for Country music.
My favorite quote is “A lion doesn't concern itself with the opion of sheep." ~ George R.R. Martin
